I had a dream I was fighting in my sleep

Life tried to tear me down, torn me inside now
I was living, I was out-of-control
I had to pump the brakes, I had to slow my roll
I had to feel the pain just so I could obtain
All the things that I needed to know
Now I’m living in the moment, let my best go
