He was a rugged man with a heart of gold inside
He lived life dangerously but with kindness running through his eyes
Friends were dear to him for love was his only crime
And now he’s changing his earthly brothers by the life that he left behind

Martin, you left us all to quickly

He was a weary traveler always on the run
In search of happiness, a search for everyone
He finally found that peace when Jesus called him home
The pressures and toil have been released and he’ll never again be alone
