I came in this world on my own
Before I saw the light, I was gone
Guess my parents didn’t have the means
To provide the life they thought that I would need, yeah
Is that cowardly? (cowardly)
Is that selfish? (selfish)
Is it my call? (my call)
Am I selfish? (selfish)
Are you out there? (out there)
Do you hear me? (hear me)
Thought I’d let you know, I ain’t angry

Has anybody ever felt disconnected?
The more you learn, the more you question
I don’t know whose blood runs in mine
Fine by me, guess I’ll decide
I know you made sacrifice
Got that life you hoped I’d find
